About the Founders

AffairsInOrder is a Minneapolis based company co-founded by Allan Johnson and JP LaMere.

A hospital industry veteran, Johnson was Director of Corporate Communications and System Director of several departments within Fairview Health Services. As a result of his many years of experience, he realized the importance of a centralized online secure storage system for the collection of personal, medical and financial affairs. His first hand experience led to the realization that most people are not prepared, emotionally or otherwise, for serious health crises or the sudden inherited responsibility caused by a family member or close friend's death.

Johnson has worked with presidential, senatorial, congressional, gubernatorial and mayoral campaigns, as well as major corporations including West Publishing, Key Investment, Inc., and 50 Entertainment. He has worked with such major influences in the entertainment and media industry as ABC and CBS. Johnson currently serves as President and CEO of SOL One Entertainment, a media franchise and also stays active in national political circles. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

Co-founder of AffairsInOrder, JP is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with degrees in International Business and Chinese. He has lived and worked in China and other parts of Asia and speaks basic Mandarin. JP has always been a pioneer in his field, especially in the area of computers and related Internet technology. JP was Marketing Manager for one of the first online radio stations that he helped bring public on NASDAQ with a successful IPO. Following this venture, JP formed one of the world's first wireless ISPs utilizing the emerging Wi-Fi technology. During the 1990s JP formed an online business and personal data storage company.
